This post focuses on 5 tips and tricks that I use daily as I create and design learning experiences. This is a highly versatile tool that can be used to create many different and exciting designs, without the need for a Graphic Design qualification.

I wrote this article to inspire people to create with confidence in Google Slides, and to inspire collaboration between team members as it is such a wonderful feature of this powerful tool.

In my role as a Learning Experience Designer I have been extremely lucky to create curriculums and design learning journeys for many people.

We were approached by a non-profit organisation in Nigeria called Afro-Tech Girls, to help them develop a curriculum for a two week bootcamp on Design Thinking which they held for 100 young women in Nigeria.

This was an exciting curriculum to work on and this blog post follows the journey of how we created it and how it was received in Nigeria.

The Emerging Trends in Education Webinar Series was launched by the Google Digital Skills Africa team to help bring the 8 emerging trends in education to the African continent.

We developed the custom designed curriculum, resources and content for these sessions. We also worked closely with teachers across South Africa and Nigeria to present the sessions effectively.
